Here is a detailed analysis of Foo Fighters - All My Life and Lady Gaga Ft Beyonce - Telephone. Both of these videos are very different. The most relevant to our genre would be Foo Fighters - All My Life as it is a performance based video, my group found this video very inspiring as it conveys all the conventions of modern-day alternative Rock and also gives the illusion of a live performance to the audience. This is something that the House Party Massacre audience enjoyed at their gig, therefore we thought it is very important we incorporate this feeling into our video.



Lady GaGa's telephone is interesting as it has a deep meaning behind the song about consumption in America, the video keeps the viewer entertained. Our group decided that we should feature a narrative/performance based video in order to keep the audience entertained. The Foo Fighters were able to conduct a performance based video and still keep the audience entertained though rapid cuts and lighting which compliments the riff and theme of the song nicely. However, we do not have the funding or the experience to create such an epic video!
